Tottenham Hotspur centre forward Harry Kane has urged the North London club to offer manager Mauricio Pochettino a new contract to keep him at White Hart Lane for years to come.
Spurs have had an excellent season under the Argentine and have put forward an unlikely title challenge.
Pochettino has clearly identified a host of young players to base his team around, with this young group of stars impressing this season.
The South American coach has stated int he past that he is building a project to make the club challengers for years to come and is a key figure in Tottenham’s development.
Kane has stated that he has a great working relationship with his boss and wants this to continue for years to come.
“He’s a great manager and you want the best managers around the world at our club,” The Sun quote the England international as saying.
“When you have top managers you want them to stay around for a long time. You can see how the rest of the team has improved under him.”
Pochettino has been linked with both Manchester United and Chelsea in the past, but looks set to stay with Tottenham and fight for major honours again next season.
