Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp has ruled out allowing Welsh star Gareth Bale to leave the club, following another dazzling display against European champions Inter Milan.
Bale netted a hat-trick in the 4-3 defeat in the San Siro a fortnight ago and impressed again by setting up two goals as Spurs exacted revenge with a 3-1 success at White Hart Lane.
Afterwards Redknapp said:"As far as selling him goes, the people who own Tottenham are not poor people. They don't need to sell him.
"I don't think Gareth needs to go anywhere else to play his football. He needs to stay here at White Hart Lane."
Inter head coach Rafa Benitez had earlier hinted at an interest in Bale, commenting:"If he plays like today, why not?
"I think he was doing well away in the first game and he was doing well today when he had the space.
"We knew that if he has the space, it is difficult to stop him because he has pace."
