We were treated to some great Champions League Football last week – besides Manchester United’s goalless draw with Real Sociedad – and the game between Juventus and Real Madrid in Turin turned out to be another cracker.
Gareth Bale continued his impressive turn of form by scoring the equalising goal, as the two sides played out an entertaining 2-2 draw.
And with the January transfer window just a matter of weeks away, no doubt there were plenty of interested spectators eyeing up some of Europe’s top talent.
Chelsea have been linked with a fair few players from Real Madrid, with Jose Mourinho supposedly keen to raid his old club for Luka Modric, Sami Khedira, Xabi Alonso, and Karim Benzema – and that’s just to name a few.
But with the Special One being linked with a move for seemingly every player in Europe at the moment, he seems to have run out of scouts.
Instead he sent David Luiz on a spying mission, as you can see from this snap – which also goes some way to explaining his recent absence from the starting line up.
The Brazilian cleverly disguised himself as a camera man in order to get a better view of Modric. But with the most recognisable haircut in the game (sorry Fellaini) he couldn’t fool us!
