Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has suggested that Tottenham Hotspur have a much better team than his former club.

The Frenchman, who spent eight years of his career playing for the Gunners, has claimed that only Alexis Sanchez is good enough to get into the Spurs team.

Arsenal have been accused of lacking leaders in the dressing room this season due to a number of disappointing results, which could prevent the club from finishing in the top four.

After Wednesday night’s 1-0 win over Leicester City, the Gunners moved up to sixth place ad now sit four points adrift of fourth-placed Manchester City with six games left to play.

As for Tottenham, they remain in the Premier League title hunt after a 1-0 triumph over Crystal Palace closed the gap between themselves and Chelsea to four points.

This Sunday, the North London rivals face off at White Hart Lane, and it is Spurs who are in a better position as they attempt to finish above Arsenal for the first time in 22 years.

While Henry believes that it will not be easy for Tottenham to get a result this weekend, the former Barcelona star believes that only one man in the Gunners setup is good enough to play for their rivals.

He told Sky Sports’ show The Boots Are Off:

“It’s difficult for me as an Arsenal man at the minute, but you have to be honest. At the minute also, I can only see right now Alexis Sanchez getting into that team without anyone saying ‘how come he’s in the team?’

“All the others, I think people will argue with that, but that doesn’t mean Tottenham are going to win easily.”

Sanchez has scored 24 goals in all competitions this season.
