Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Hector Bellerin will not be available for the upcoming Champions League game against Bayern Munich, Skysports reports.
The 20-year-old is currently suffering from a groin injury as the Gunners head to Germany without the services of nine first team players.
Bellerin is joined by David Ospina, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mikel Arteta, Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey, Tomas Rosicky, and Danny Welbeck on the sidelines as they will all miss the upcoming clash.
However, Wenger has reassured the fans that Mathieu Debuchy is ready to fill the void left by the absence of the Spanish right-back.
“He will play and I’m confident, I trust Debuchy,” he said.
“He is a very dedicated player and works hard in training.”
It was earlier believed that the Premier League giants were looking to play for a draw, but the French manager has also come out to say that they will be going for all three points.
The club are currently sitting in third place, level on points with last place Dinamo Zagreb as a win against the Bundesliga champions can put them level with their upcoming opponents.
