Huge blow for Chelsea as star attacker set to miss two games

Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink has revealed that star man Eden Hazard is expected to miss the next two matches after picking up an injury, Daily Star reports.

The 25-year-old picked up a muscle injury and is set to sit out of Premier League games against West Bromwich Albion and Everton.

He was also left out of the recent 2-0 FA Cup third round win over Scunthorpe as Hiddink admitted that he will not risk Hazard until he is fully recovered.

“I don’t want him to fall again with muscle problems,” he said.

“I want to be careful with him that he doesn’t start too early.”

The winger has struggled to replicate the form which saw him named PFA Player of the Year last season as he is yet to score a single goal this season.

Out of 25 appearances so far this term, the Belgian international only managed to provide three assists and is looking far from his best.

Despite his form, he is still being eyed by a host of European giants, with Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and even Manchester United keen on his services.
