Everton have been given a huge boost ahead of their clash against Stoke City after Roberto Martinez revealed that both Kevin Mirallas and James McCarthy could feature after being sidelined through injury, Daily Mail reports.
Mirallas was a doubt after picking up a knock against Southampton last week while McCarthy has been unavailable for selection ever since November.
However, Martinez has now confirmed that the Toffees pair are set to make an appearance over the tight match schedule where they will face the Potters this evening before taking on Newcastle United two days later.
He said: “Kevin Mirallas has got a great chance to be involved over the next two games. We don’t know yet if the Stoke game is going to be too early but he has an opportunity, which is fantastic news.
“James McCarthy is very similar to Kevin. I do think he will be involved one way or another over the next two games.”
