Northern Ireland international Aaron Hughes has started discussions about a new Fulham contract.
The 30-year-old former Newcastle United and Aston Villa star has been at Craven Cottage since the summer of 2007 and has been a consistent performer for the club, featuring in almost 100 matches.
"We're talking at the minute and, hopefully, we can get something sorted out," Hughes told the Evening Standard.
"I've enjoyed it here even when things weren't going too well in my first season with the club. All that was missing was the results.
"Now we've come out the other side where we're getting the results I'm enjoying it just as much. Hopefully, I can hang around a bit longer."
Brede Hangeland recently agreed a new long-term deal with the club while boss Roy Hodgson is also reportedly close to penning a new contract.
