Hull City are boosted by news that Mohamed Diame will be fit to face both Manchester United and Chelsea during the tightly packed game schedule in December, Daily Star reports.
The return of the 27-year-old midfield general will be a great plus for Steve Bruce as he needs to begin registering wins despite the fact that they face United, Chelsea, and also Everton in the next 17 days.
He was tipped to miss a number of games after his latest knee injury, but later scans showed that it was only a minor knock as his manager reveals he will most likely feature at the weekend.
Bruce said: “Happily, the results of the scan show no major problems, and that’s a huge relief to Mo and for us because we need our big players to help us climb the table.
“Mo is a very good player, and it’s no wonder he’s becoming a bit of a cult hero here already.
“Fans soon recognise a talented player, and he has been very effective for us in the games he has played. It will be good to have him back.”
