Hull City forward Abel Hernandez is wanted by Serie A sides Fiorentina and Torino.
That’s according to Gazetta World, who claim that Torino are hoping to make a swap deal with the Tigers, that would see Hernandez depart, and Maxi Lopez join the recently promoted Premier League team.
However, Torino have competition, with Fiorentina sporting director Pantaleo Corvino reportedly contacting Hernandez’s camp over a summer switch.
It’s been a nightmare summer for Hull City, with the club still managers after Steve Bruce resigned from his post, just months after guiding them back into the top flight. Bruce managed the club to Play-off glory in May, but has departed the Tigers, who kick off the new season on Saturday at home to the champions Leicester City.
Hernandez played his first season for Hull in the Premier League, scoring 4 goals. He surprised some by staying at the club when they relegated to the Championship, and went on to net 21 times in the 2nd division.
With play-off hero Mo Diame already gone, it would be a huge blow if the Tigers lost Hernandez too.
