Striker Ilan is hoping he has done enough during his time at West Ham United to earn a permanent contract.
The Brazilian frontman joined the Hammers in January on a deal until the end of the season after being released by French club St Etienne.
The 29-year-old took time to settle at Upton Park before scoring crucial goals in a draw with Everton and victory over Sunderland in recent weeks.
He is now hoping to extend his stay in the Premier League into next season.
"In my mind I feel I can get the goals to help the club," Ilan told the Daily Mirror.
"I am happy with my contribution considering the minutes I have played.
"And at 29, I feel I am in my prime and ready to do well and stay here."
