Incoming West Ham star drops hint that move is done

Free agent Diego Poyet has confirmed that he will be joining West Ham in the near future.

The former Charlton youngster attempted to keep fans on the edge of their seats with a tweet yesterday, only to include the West Ham hashtag #COYI, come on you Irons.

Sam Allardyce is set to make Poyet his fourth summer signing after Cheikhou Kayoute, Mauro Zarate and Aaron Cresswell already put pen to paper on deals.

The Hammers fans have been promised more attacking football and that already shows in their summer business, with 19-year-old Poyet to most exciting of the lot so far.

Son of Sunderland boss Gus, Diego was the player of the season at The Valley last term and turned down the offer of a new deal from the south East London club in order to make a Premier League switch.

West Ham are due to pay compensation to the Addicks but that is not likely to be anywhere near his value, with a four year deal signed a sealed.
