Injury struck West Ham not keen on making major January signings

West Ham United have ruled out making any major January signings despite seeing a number of their stars unavailable through injury, Mirror reports.

The club are currently going through an injury crisis at the moment, a factor that could impact their impressive start to the season.

Their latest knock has now seen loanee Manuel Lanzini ruled out for up to six weeks as he joins Victor Moses, Diafra Sakho, Enner Valencia, and Dimitri Payet on the sidelines.

However, despite seeing a host of first team regulars being unavailable for selection, the Hammers are not likely to break the bank for any major additions during the upcoming winter window.

It is believed that they have adequate cover for their injured stars as Nikica Jelavic, Mauro Zarate, and Michail Antonio could all be given more prominent roles due to the injury struck squad.

Manager Slaven Bilic will get a chance to try out his new team selection when his side host Stoke City in the Premier League this Saturday.
