Inter Milan are begin negotiations over loan move for out-of-favour Arsenal forward Joel Campbell, Mirror reports.
The Costa Rica international was one of the breakout starts during the summer World Cup, helping his country to an unlikely quarter finals exit but has seen very little first-team action this season.
This has therefore alerted Serie A giants Inter Milan, who have made enquiries over Campbell’s availability.
Inter were heavily linked with a move for Campbell over the summer and could at last sign the 22-year-old on loan, with a £7million option to make the move permanent.
Campbell signed for the Gunners back in 2011 but was sent on loan spells at Lorient, Betis, and last season Olympiakos, with the hope that he would finally get his chance for the club this year.
However Campbell hasn’t even been selected for the bench in his last three fixtures, forcing him to look for first-team football elsewhere.
Campbell is also frustrated that on transfer deadline day, Wenger blocked a move for him to join Portuguese outfit Benfica, where he would have been playing on a regular basis.
