Olivier Giroud is a target for Juventus, according to Tuttosport.
Giroud has lost his first XI place to Danny Welbeck of late and it is reported that the Italian champions are eyeing up a move for the French centre-forward. Edinson Cavani is thought to be the first name on the list of the Serie A giants but, if a move can’t be completed, Giroud is an alternative option to add to their forward options.
Arsenal fans are quick to criticise Giroud, but his impressive goal scoring record in an Arsenal shirt has piqued the interest of Juventus and might be enough for the Gunners to cash in on their 29 year old striker. Welbeck’s return to fitness and form has left Giroud on the bench and his limitations seem to put Wenger off starting him on occasion.
Giroud himself would surely be tempted by a move to the Italian champions considering Arsenal’s poor season.
