Javier Hernandez delighted with two-goal show

Manchester United match-winner Javier Hernandez voiced his delight after scoring both goals in Sunday's 2-1 Premier League win at Stoke City.

The Mexican hitman scored with a fine header before snatching a late winner after Potters forward Tuncay levelled with ten minutes to go.

Although he departed the Britannia Stadium with all the plaudits, the summer signing insists the whole team must be recognised for their efforts.

"We were very happy with the result. We know about Stoke's style and are delighted," he said.

"I'm working a lot because I want to stay here a long time and win a lot of tournaments."

On his 27th minute header, he added:"I jumped and saw the ball behind me and tried to head it towards the goal.

"I don't remember doing it in training. It's a good goal but the most important thing is the result. Here there are no heroes, it is about the team.

"My team-mates trust in me and all the staff too. It's an unbelievable opportunity for me to play with the biggest team in the world."
