The Chelsea man is by no means a certainty to travel to Ukraine and Poland, as his court case in July for allegedly racially abusing Anton Ferdinand earlier this term hangs over his head.
With the QPR defender’s brother Rio also in consideration to be part of the travelling contingent, new boss Hodgson has a decision to make in terms of his backline.
With reports that the West Brom manager is ready to leave Terry out, the former skipper has stated that he is in dark.
“I’ve not had any call yet but I’m focusing on the league and Chelsea at the moment,” the defender told Sky Sports.
“Hopefully, I get the call and I’m in the squad – and that goes for many of us here.
“I’ll always be there for my country,” he concluded.
