Julio Cesar has agreed to sign for Queens Park Rangers from Inter Milan.
The Brazilian goalkeeper has agreed a four-year deal with QPR after being displaced by Samir Handanovic at the San Siro.
International clearance and a visa must be granted to the Brazilian international, who has all but completed his move to the London club.
Before a patchy 2011-12 season, Cesar was considered among the world’s best in goal and won the UEFA Champions League, along with five Serie A titles, during his time at Inter.
The 32-year-old’s arrival signals a stunning vote of no confidence to current goalkeeper Rob Green. Green was picked up on a free transfer this summer but has since been shunned by manager Mark Hughes.
