It has been confirmed that an unnamed Premier League club have made an offer to sign Juventus striker Carlos Tevez, according to reports from Sky Sports.
Tevez has been heavily linked with a move away from the Juventus stadium this summer, with only one year remaining in his current deal.
This has therefore alerted the likes of Liverpool and Spanish giants Atletico Madrid, with former club Boca Juniors also in the mix.
And it seems that the Reds are in pole position to sign the 29-year-old, as Atletico are reluctant to pay the striker’s £3.25million-a-year in wages.
However, Liverpool may not be the only side from England keen on the former Manchester City ace, as it has been confirmed that a Premier League club have submitted an offer to sign Tevez this summer.
Tevez spent seven seasons in the English top flight with West Ham United, Manchester United, then Man City before his move to Juventus in the summer of 2013.
