Tottenham Hotspur star Erik Lamela is being targeted by Juventus after a halt in their attempts to sign Julian Draxler from Schalke, according to reports from the Mirror.
The 23-year-old has been struggling with injury ever since his £30million move from Roma back in 2013, failing to live up expectations.
However, since his return he managed to fight his way back into the team, but could still be sold if the Serie A winners manage to table an interesting offer.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is believed to still be open to giving the Argentinean winger a chance to prove himself following his return to regular football.
Apart from Lamela and Draxler, Juventus have also been linked with Real Madrid’s Isco as well as Bayern Munich’s Mario Gotze, as they hope to find a replacement for Arturo Vidal who earlier left the club.
He managed to feature 46 times in all competitions last term, scoring five goals while providing a further 10 assists.
