Manchester United's teenage striker Danny Welbeck will have a scan on his knee on Wednesday after picking up an injury in the Carling Cup fourth round victory at Barnsley.
The 18-year-old opened the scoring as United cruised to a straightforward 2-0 victory to seal their place in the last eight of the competition.
After the game Welbeck said:"It's great to get further in the cups. I'm already looking forward to the quarter-finals. We'll certainly enjoy it and do our best.
"We controlled the game against Barnsley in the second half. The youngsters did well and the experienced players in the team helped us massively."
On his goal, Welbeck added: "Anderson said he was going to hit it to the front post so I thought I could get it. The area was free so I drifted in and got my head onto it."
