Everton manager Ronald Koeman has not had the most desirable start to the Premier League season, despite splurging more than £100m on new signings in the summer.

With the injection of cash from majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri, the aim is for the Toffees to challenge the top six.

However, the team have managed to pick up just four points from a possible 15, which has left them in the relegation zone, third from bottom.

The Merseyside outfit have recorded back-to-back defeats in their last three top-flight games, which saw nine goals conceded and none being scored the other way.

With the managerial merry-go-round already in full swing following Frank de Boer's sacking from Crystal Palace last week, attention has turned to who could be next on the chopping block.

Ladbrokes have tipped Koeman to become the next manager to lose his job, slashing his odds from 8/1 to 15/8 following Sunday's 4-0 loss to Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Despite signing well-known names, including Gylfi Sigurdsson, Michael Keane and Wayne Rooney, the team are struggling for consistency.

As it stands, the bookies think that Koeman is likely to be sacked before Slaven Bilic, who is 2/1 to get the axe from West Ham United following a disappointing start to the campaign.

The East London outfit have the same amount of points as Everton, but they sit one place above the drop zone due to a marginally better goal difference.
