The champions of La Liga look set to have signed the Chilean’s replacement, by adding Jasper Cillessen from Ajax for £10million.
And this move will then free up Bravo to head to the Etihad and work under Pep Guardiola, who isn’t keen on England number 1 shot stopper Joe Hart. The 29-year-old played in 35 league games last season, but was dropped for both City’s opening league fixture last weekend, and their midweek UEFA Champions League qualifier.
The Mirror believe Bravo will now join the club for £17.4million, as Guardiola builds his new-look City team, that is expected to involve a lot more passing from the back.
Hart has been the regular keeper for City since the 2007-08 season, and has helped them win 2 Premier League titles, along with the FA Cup.
He could now move to Everton for a season-long loan.
