Atletico Madrid attacker Alessio Cerci has been put up for sale, alerting the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal who are interested in his services, Express reports.
The Italian only made the move to Atletico during the summer but has struggled to settle into his new environment, with manager Diego Simeone yet to start Cerci for the La Liga champions.
The former Torino man was heavily courted by United and Arsenal and could make another bid in January as sources from Spain suggest Cerci is now surplus to requirements at the Vincente Calderon.
Cerci joined Atletico for £13million and it is likely that the Spanish club will not allow the 27-year-old to leave for anything less.
Man United manager Louis van Gaal won’t be put off by that price, as the Old Trafford club spent over £150million in the summer and still has funds to accommodate the move.
Arsenal reportedly have £20million to spend in January, but Arsene Wenger’s priority is on a centre-back to fix the Gunners’ defensive woes.
