Arsenal and Liverpool have been joined by Real Madrid in the race to sign Real Betis star Dani Ceballos, according to reports from the Express.
The 19-year-old has caught the eye of a host of European giants since his displays at the Under-19 European Champions during the summer.
His style of play is being compared to Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas as a number of clubs are now looking to lure him to their side.
Ceballos will see his contract expire at the end of this season, meaning Betis may be forced to sell him in the January window in order to avoid losing him for free in the summer.
However, Madrid are looking to beat the two Premier League giants by offering to sign the player and then loaning him back to Betis in order to continue his development.
He has so far made six league appearances this term and has already featured for the Spain Under-19 and Under-21 squad.
