La Liga duo Sevilla and Valencia are battling to secure the services of Manchester United ace Victor Valdes, according to reports from the Daily Star.
Valdes has been left out of the first-team by Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal following a bust-up during the summer, and the Spaniard is desperate to find a new club.
And it looks like United are willing to terminate his contract in order for Valdes to leave before the end of the season.
This has therefore seen Chelsea, who are looking for a third goalkeeper, interested in the ex-Barcelona star, but Man United have been reluctant to let him leave to a rival club.
However, Valencia and Sevilla are both keen on Valdes, and talks are set to begin so a move can be finalized ahead of the January transfer window.
The 33-year-old spent 12 years at Barcelona prior to his free transfer to Man United earlier this year, winning six La Liga titles, two Copa de Reys, and three UEFA Champions League trophies.
