Espanyol star Hernan Perez has come out to reveal that he hopes to one day complete a move to the Premier League and play for Chelsea, La Nacion reports.
The 27-year-old winger has been on good form since his arrival from Valladolid during the previous summer window, but isn’t being linked with an exit at this point.
Perez admitted that he always dreamed of a switch to the English top flight and eventually playing for the Blues as he will not hesitate on the opportunity to do so.
“Since I started playing football, my target was always to play in the Premier League and I will not stop until I get it,” he said.
“I dream of playing for Chelsea, I always liked them, ahead of Real Madrid and Barcelona.
“If I get to choose, I will not hesitate to go to England.”
However, he later added via his Twitter account that his recent remarks doesn’t mean that he is looking for a way out as he reassures the fans that he is fully committed to his current side.
The Paraguay international has already featured 25 times in all competitions for his side this term, so far managing to register six goals while providing another two assists in the process.
