Blackburn Rovers manager Sam Allardyce has warned his strikers that they need to start finding the net on a more regular basis.
Benni McCarthy, Franco Di Santo, Niko Kalinic and Jason Roberts have all struggled for top form this season, with none able to break through in the 2-0 weekend defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at Ewood Park.
Allardyce told the club's official website:"We want some of the combinations to start scoring goals, we're constantly searching for that.
"We've got no problem with their application or their work-rate and the chances that they do create, but what we haven't found is enough quality to convert them.
"When you see how few chances Tottenham needed, they had fewer chances than we did and they won 2-0.
"That is where we have to get to, we can't keep asking the team to make ten chances to score one goal.
"We've got to be scoring one goal every two or three chances and that is where we've got to get our ratio to start getting wins on the board."
