Burnley midfielder Chris McCann is closing in on a return to action, having missed most of the current campaign due to knee problems.
The 22-year-old Irishman has made just eight appearances this season and recently suffered a slight setback in only his second outing since mid-September.
However, McCann is expected to feature at a training camp in Spain, with Clarets manager Brian Laws looking forward to a welcome boost.
He told the Lancashire Telegraph:"It will be good to have him back in contention.
"As well as Chris playing, it will be an opportunity for the lads who haven't figured much to show us what they can do.
"The warmer weather means we can do a couple of training sessions a day, which we haven't been able to do back home, to help us to get ready for the game at Aston Villa."
