Leicester City failed in their efforts to sign Ronaldinho during the January window as he is believed to be interested in a switch to China, Mundo Deportivo reports.
The 35-year-old is currently a free agent following his departure from Brazilian outfits Fluminense after reaching a mutual agreement to terminate his contract back in September due to a number of unconvincing displays.
He was being eyed by the Premier League leaders last month as manager Claudio Ranieri looks to add more reinforcements into his squad.
It is believed that the Brazilian legend is now waiting for a mega offer from the Chinese Super League as their transfer window is still open.
However, the Foxes still had a number of transfer successes in January given that they signed Demarai Gray and Daniel Amartey, while also denying the exit of star duo Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy.
The squad have been on sensational form so far this season and are in line to finish in the top four as they are still leading second place Manchester City by three points.
