Leicester set to offer hero bumper deal

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri is all set to sign a new bumper contract with the club once Euro 16 has been wrapped up, as reported by the Daily Star.

Although several players are yet to commit their long-term future to the club – with many of the stars having been offered huge new contracts – Ranieri is set to sign a double-money deal with the Foxes when he returns from his TV work on the European Championships later in the summer.

The unprecedented league win has seen many of the Foxes’ players become some of the most desirable stars in Europe and Ranieri will be desperate to prove that he will be sticking by the club that gave him a chance when so many had written him off as a manager at the top level.

The reported £3 million a year contract might not make him the highest paid manager in the world, but it shows just how much faith the owners in Ranieri to keep the club at the top.
