Liverpool have been told by Leicester City that they will need to pay at least £15million to begin negotiations over a potential deal for Jamie Vardy, Express reports.
The 28-year-old has been one of the standout performers in the Premier League this season as his goal scoring abilities has helped his side to third on the table, behind Arsenal and Manchester City.
Vardy is currently the league’s top goal scorer, netting 11 goals from a total of 11 games, four away from Watford’s Odion Ighalo and Leicester’s Riyad Mahrez in second.
His form has so far attracted interest from both Tottenham Hotpsur as well as Liverpool as they are now being linked with his services.
Manager Claudio Ranieri recently admitted that the club will do all they can do keep hold of their star striker, but could be powerless to stop his exit if a huge offer is tabled.
Apart from Spurs and the Reds, West Bromwich Albion and Borussia Dortmund are also said to be monitoring his situation.
