Leicester City star N’Golo Kante has come out to play down speculation over a potential summer transfer to Real Madrid, The Sun reports.
The 24-year-old only completed his move to the King Power Stadium from Caen last summer, but his performances this season has already attracted interest from a host of European elites.
However, Kante has revealed that he is solely focused on helping the Foxes lift the league title as he is not paying attention to all the rumours linking him with an exit.
“I’m only focused on Leicester. We have a season to finish, otherwise I haven’t heard anything,” he said.
“As long as a club doesn’t approach me directly, I don’t pay too much attention to the rumours.
“The Premier League is a competition that suits me, which is perhaps more praise to myself.”
With only seven matches left until the end of the campaign, Leicester currently sit top of the league table and are five ahead of Tottenham Hotspur in first.
The midfielder has already featured 33 times in all competitions for his side this term, so far managing to score one goal while providing another three assists.
