Leicester to replace N’golo Kante with former Stoke enforcer

Leicester City are preparing for life without superstar midfielder N’golo Kante, with the Premier League champions potentially set to make a move for former Stoke City enforcer Steven N’Zonzi according to The Mirror.

The Foxes romped their way to an unprecedented Premier League title in 2015-16, with Claudio Ranieri’s men the best team in the country over the course of the campaign.

With some of the King Power Stadium squad raising their profiles from little-know players to world stars, a host of Leicester’s players are expected to be in demand this summer.

Kante moved to the modest English club from Caen last summer and captured the imagination with his tireless work rate and ability to win the ball back cleanly.

The France international is being tipped with a move to Arsenal and would take some replacing should he leave the champions.

N’Zonzi was on the Potters’ books for three years but moved to Spanish side Sevilla last summer, starting 22 domestic games for the La Liga team in 2015-16.

However, with the 27-year-old’s future with the Europa League champions up in the air, Leicester are potentially set to bring N’Zonzi back to English football.
