Liverpool are said to have agreed a January deal to sign former Borussia Dortmund star Kevin Grosskreutz from Galatasaray, Express reports.
The 27-year-old completed a switch to the Turkish giants during the summer window, but has been unable to feature given that his transfer documents weren’t submitted on time.
He is now expected to leave during the January window as Reds boss Jurgen Klopp targets a reunion with his former winger.
Grosskreutz worked with Klopp for six seasons during their time together in the Bundesliga and could now be on his way to Anfield.
It is now believed that the Germany international has agreed terms of his potential transfer to the Premier League, with the confirmation likely to be made in the coming weeks.
Ever since the appointment of Klopp, the Reds have constantly been linked with a number of his former players.
Marco Reus, Mats Hummels, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Neven Subotic have all emerged as possible targets heading into the winter window.
