Liverpool looks to have been alerted in their chase to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after he is said to be keen on leaving Borussia Dortmund for a chance to work with Jurgen Klopp once again, Express reports.
The 26-year-old has been linked with a move to Anfield ever since the summer, but their chances of signing him has greatly increased due to the recent arrival of former manager Klopp.
Despite speculation that the former Dortmund boss will be looking to give all his current players a chance to prove themselves, Aubameyang still remains a possible transfer target.
A source admitted that they believe an offer from the Reds for the attacker to be reunited with his former boss could be seen as an interesting opportunity.
“An offer of joining Liverpool now Jurgen is there would be an attractive proposition,”
The Gabon international is said to be valued at around the £35million region, with La Liga giants Barcelona also said to be keen on his services.
The player has been on great form for his side in all competitions this term, scoring 14 goals from a total of 14 appearances so far.
