Liverpool looks to have been alerted after Manchester United are said to have told Victor Valdes he is not allowed to train with the senior squad, according to reports from the Express.
The 33-year-old goalkeeper joined on a free transfer during the previous winter transfer after being allowed to recover from an injury at the club.
However, he has now got on manager Louis van Gaal’s bad side when he refused to play for the reserves earlier in the summer.
This resulted in the Dutchman banning him from the first team as he is now being forced to work with the Under-21 and Under-18 goalkeeping coaches.
Besiktas were keen to lure the former Barcelona star to their club during the previous transfer window, but his move eventually collapsed.
