Liverpool and Manchester United may need to look elsewhere after Radja Nainggolan revealed that he will not leave Roma, Daily Star reports.
The 27-year-old emerged as a top midfield target for a host of Premier League clubs earlier this year, with Chelsea and Manchester City also said to be interested in his services.
However, despite being linked with moves to sign the Belgium international, all their efforts eventually failed as he was keen to continue his stay.
Nainggolan has now come out to restate the fact that he isn’t keen on leaving the Serie A giants following his team’s 2-0 win over Lazio at the weekend.
“Is my future still with Roma? I could stay here forever, albeit not as captain,” he said.
He is believed to be worth around the £20million region, but based on his recent remarks; it is not likely that he will be playing in the Premier League any time soon.
The Roma star has so far featured 16 times in all competitions for his side this term, registering one assist, but is yet to find the back of the net.
