The agent of Paris Saint-Germain star Ezequiel Lavezzi is set to hold talks over a move to Italy with Juventus and Inter Milan, blowing Liverpool and Tottenham’s chances of signing the player, according to reports from talkSPORT.
Lavezzi has been heavily linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes since the summer, as his contract with the Ligue-1 champions runs out at the end of the season.
However, the Argentina international decided to stay with PSG and will be available on a free transfer in June.
But it seems that Lavezzi is hoping for a return to the Italian Serie A, where he spent five years with Napoli from 2007-2012.
His agent has therefore flown to Italy to discuss a potential move to either Juve or Inter, lowering his chances of playing in the English top flight.
Lavezzi, 30, has made 18 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring two goals.
