Liverpool target Marco Reus has revealed that he admires Barcelona and has hinted at a possible switch should he leave current club Borussia Dortmund, Daily Star reports.
The 26-year-old has been linked with a move to Anfield ever since the appointment of former Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp.
It was believed that the German manager was ready to raid his previous club for players, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Mats Hummels, and Reus all being linked.
However, the Germany international dropped a huge hint that he could snub a transfer to the Premier League in favour of the La Liga.
“As a child I always played for Barcelona on the Playstation. The club has players of extraordinary quality and their style of play is great too,” he said.
He also added that he is very keen to one day play with either Lionel Messi at Barca or with Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid.
“I always want to play with the best in the world, whether it’s Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo.”
Both Real and Barca are said to have been monitoring the situation of the winger during the summer, despite the player only signing an extension back in February.
Reus has been on good form for his club this term, so far scoring seven goals from his previous nine Bundesliga appearances.
