Liverpool could be without Alberto Moreno after he picked up a hamstring injury ahead the team’s Europa League second-leg clash with rivals Manchester United, Liverpool Echo reports.
The 23-year-old suffered the knock during training as he was working on his crosses and was unable to continue the session following the incident.
He is now a doubt for the upcoming match against United after coming away with a 2-0 victory in the first-leg at Anfield.
Manager Jurgen Klopp is yet to decide whether Moreno will be able to feature, but with the fixture taking place tonight, he may need to look at alternative options.
Brad Smith is now a possible candidate to take over from the left-back given that he featured earlier against FC Sion in the group stages.
Klopp would love to pick Jon Flanagan for the role, but the defender wasn’t registered in the European squad after only managing to come back from a long-term injury.
