Liverpool have been handed an injury boost after Philippe Coutinho returned to training ahead of their clash with Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend, according to reports from Liverpool Echo.
The 23-year-old decided to sit out of Brazil’s latest match during the international break after picking up a groin injury.
Newly appointed manager Jurgen Klopp held his first training session at the club yesterday despite having a limited number of players due to some stars being injured or travelling with their national squads.
Coutinho was among those taking part in the session, along with Daniel Sturridge, Alberto Moreno, and Lucas Leiva.
More good news for Klopp is that Dejan Lovren is also back in training despite being stretched off with a suspected broken ankle in a game against Carlisle last month.
However, the former Borussia Dortmund manager will still be without summer signings Roberto Firmino and Christian Benteke, while club captain Jordan Henderson is also unavailable.
