Liverpool have received an injury boost ahead of their match against FC Sion as Philippe Coutinho is set to make his return, Express reports.
The 23-year-old picked up a hamstring knock and has been unable to feature in four of his team’s previous matches, playing his latest game during the 4-1 win over Manchester City.
Coutinho is now in line to get back into action for the upcoming Europa League clash, but manager Jurgen Klopp still has other injury concerns in his squad.
The Reds are currently without the services of Jordan Ibe, Daniel Sturridge, Mamaduo Sakho, Danny Ings, Joe Gomez, and Jon Flanagan, all of whom are unavailable through injury.
However, Alberto Moreno, Lucas, and Joe Allen have been given time to rest as they were not included in the squad despite not picking up any injuries.
Klopp has already ensured progression into the next round, but will need either a draw or a win to guarantee that they finish top of Group B.
