Liverpool have been boosted ahead of their clash against Leicester City as both Simon Mignolet and Dejan Lovren are tipped to make a return from injury, Daily Star reports.
Mignolet sat out of his team’s previous fixture last weekend where they lost 3-0 to Watford due to a hamstring problem while Lovren was struggling with a knock to his knee.
Their return will be seen as a huge boost for manager Jurgen Klopp given the squad’s ever growing list of injuries picked up by his star players.
First choice centre-back Martin Skrtel is set to miss around six weeks of football after suffering hamstring and tendon injuries, while James Milner is also unavailable due to a calf problem.
Klopp will need to get his players back on track after failing to pick up a single win from their previous four fixtures in all competitions.
The Reds are currently sitting ninth on the Premier League table, but are only separated from Tottenham Hotspur in fourth by five points.
