That’s according to Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, who has praised the club’s owners FSG for their financial backing this summer, after spending an estimated £70million on new players, with some of that cash gained from player sales.
Newest signing Georginio Wijnaldum recently joined the club’s preseason tour of America, linking up with fellow newcomers Sadio Mane, Loris Karius, Ragnar Klavan, Alex Manninger, Joel Matip and Marko Gruijic.
And when asked by reporters if he was finished in the window, Klopp still said there’s work to be done:
“We’re in a good way. We don’t need to make another three or four signings, maybe one more, maybe not.
“We still have to do a lot of things on the selling side. We don’t want to have 500 players in the squad.”
Luis Alberto, Mario Balotelli, Lazar Markovic and Cristian Benteke are all being linked with an Anfield exit, as the German boss trims his squad ahead of the new season.
The Reds kick off their new season away at Arsenal on August 14th.
