Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is said to be plotting a mega move to try and lure Robert Lewandowski to Anfield, according to Fichajes, as reported by the Metro.
The 27-year-old has been on sensational form for his current club this season and has now emerged as a prime candidate to help the team get back into the top four.
Despite earlier remarks made by Klopp stating that he was not going to make a move for his former players, it is believed that he has arranged a sit down with Lewandowski’s agent Cezary Kucharsky to discuss terms of a potential move.
The newly appointed manager will be desperate for more striking options given that Danny Ings will be out for the remaining of the campaign after rupturing his knee ligaments in a recent training session.
However, the Anfield side must table a huge offer in their pursuit of the Poland international given that he still has four years remaining on his current contract.
