Liverpool ace Oussama Assaidi has been sold to Al Ahli for a fee of £4.7million, Daily Star reports.
Assaidi was recalled back to Liverpool from Stoke where he was on loan in order to complete the move to the Dubai-based club.
The winger was purchased from Eridivisie club Heerenveen for £2.4million back in 2012, however he did not impress and was loaned out to Stoke for the 2013-2014 season.
The 26-year-old did find his feet with the Potters – scoring four goals in 19 Premier League games – but has found it much more difficult to break into Mark Hughes’ starting eleven in the current campaign.
His lack of playing time therefore alerted Al Ahli, who wasted no time and paid almost double what the Reds spent on the Moroccan to lure him to the Middle East.
Liverpool fans never saw much of the fringe player, as Assaidi only played four games for the Reds.
