Liverpool are currently in talks with Monaco over a potential move for Aymen Abdennour, according to reports from the Daily Star.
The 25-year-old is now a top transfer target for a number of high profile clubs, with Inter Milan, Barcelona, as well as AC Milan all interested.
His agent Abdelkader Jilani has revealed that the Reds have opened talks with the centre-back and if a deal can be agreed, the Ligue-1 giants will not halt the move.
“There are clubs who have approached us and who will enter into contact with Monaco,” he said.
“There is AC Milan, Inter Milan, Barcelona and Liverpool.
“I don’t think that Monaco will prevent Abdennour from leaving.”
He only completed a switch from Toulouse the previous summer, and despite recently signing a new contract extension, he may once again be on the move.
Abdennour was one of the standout performers for his squad when they overcame Premier League giants Arsenal in the Champions League last season.
The Tunisia international is likely to receive a number of offers in the coming weeks, especially with the mentioned sides all set to enter talks regarding a summer switch.
