Liverpool flop given £11.8m contract to make China switch

Liverpool flop Mario Balotelli has been offered £11.8million by Chinese powerhouse Jiangsu Suning to make a switch to the Chinese Super League, according to reports from Il Milanista.

Balotelli joined the Reds in the summer of 2014 from AC Milan as a potential replacement for Luis Suarez, who joined Barcelona in a massive deal worth £75million.

However, despite his successes at Manchester City previously, the Italy international was unable to adapt to his new environment and was a massive flop at Anfield.

This saw Milan bring him back on loan the previous summer in the hopes of reigniting his career, but he once again failed to make an impact struggling with form and fitness.

But this has not stopped Jiangsu from being interested in the 25-year-old, with the Chinese club having held talks and are prepared to make him a contract offer worth £11.8million (€15million) for his services.

Balotelli has only made 16 appearances in all competitions this term, scoring three goals.
