According to the Liverpool Echo, Mario Balotelli has no place in Jurgen Klopp’s plans for the squad.
The local newspaper reports that Balotelli will be moved on in the summer on a permanent basis, once he returns from his loan with AC Milan. Liverpool have a huge number of options in the forward line, with Daniel Sturridge returning from injury, Divock Origi, who is learning his game and Christian Benteke.
Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana are also options in the final third for Klopp and the Echo writes that the German doesn’t think the Italian striker would suit his high intensity game.
Liverpool are believed to still be paying some of Balotelli’s extravagant wages and would like to move him on to allow for new signings.
It is also reported that the former Manchester City striker could be about to join the Chinese footballing revolution and follow former Liverpool target Alex Teixeira to the far-east.
